He Had All the Time & Space to Avoid This A motorist in a black sedan remained in the center lane while attempting to merge into the right lane for an upcoming exit. Although a significant gap was available for a safe lane change, the driver hesitated and braked suddenly on a busy interstate, causing a rear-end collision with a following semi-truck. The impact pushed the sedan into the right lane, where it struck another semi-truck ahead before coming to a stop. The remainder of the footage captures the frustration the truck driver expressed while speaking with his wife on the phone. #truck #idiotsincars #instantkarma #dashcam #carcrash

Cdl holder here. That’s why I don’t drive down the merge lane during busy traffic. Common sense isn’t too common.
For some reason the new thing is to turn your blinker on for 10 seconds, do nothing, and then take your sweet time merging.
Wdym an entire semi truck can’t come to a full stop in a quarter of a second? I had my blinkers on!
It’s actually worrying how bad drivers are now. No one knows the rules, or they don’t care to bother with them. Blows my mind
DMVs handing out driver's licenses like Halloween candy.
CDL holder here always leave yourself enough space to stop in time
Moral of the story, 1 bad driver and 1 asshole = 2 unhappy people
"I can just stop on the highway, right? *bonk*"
Used his horn more than his brakes lol. 'I got to get off the phone for a bit' was the cherry
Bro never touched his brakes 😂 doesn't seem like the trucker was looking at the road if he think the car slammed on the brakes
as a CDL holder he had more than enough time to slow down. you were distracted. sometimes having the right doesn’t always make it right.
Those are people that just get in the car and drive and don't know their own car's length
You didn't wanna work no more, did you😂
You could see he was slowing down in the lane with nothing in front of him and you're on the phone on top of it driving a 18-wheeler. It's called Defensive Driving Mr Big Rig
Bro had plenty of time to stop, but instead he kept on getting closer until it was too late
That trucker had so much time to assess what was going on around him.
Dude had plenty of time to slow down and avoid this🤦🏽♂️
Truck had literally forever to see how slow the car was going. The car didn’t slam its breaks, it lightly applied them. You can see it barely slowed more than it was already going.
The driver of the car could’ve easily moved into the right hand lane.
Dude. 7 seconds to stop. He just chose not to.
