When a Wedding Dress Becomes a Hard Lesson π She ordered the dress for the big day, hoping it would fit perfectly. But life had other plansβcancer changed everything in ways no one expected. The dress no longer fit, but that wasnβt the only problem. The shop offered to return half the value, but the real question wasnβt money. It was about acceptance. About understanding that sometimes, the hardest battles leave marks far deeper than any fabric. In the quiet exchange, a simple phraseββFor me, you doββshowed that love isnβt about perfection or price tags. Itβs about standing by someone when lifeβs reality shifts. π True support means showing up even when circumstances change. π Value isnβt just moneyβitβs the bond that holds people through uncertainty. π Sometimes the greatest gift is just being there, no matter what. The uncomfortable truth? Life doesnβt come with guarantees. Plans unravel, dreams get tested, and what we envisioned is rarely the whole story. So the real question is: How often do we remember that love is measured most in the moments we stay, not just when everything is perfect? ππ¬ Credits: Kimβs Convenience β οΈ DM for credit or removal request (no copyright intended) β οΈ . . . . #wedding #love #resilience #shorts

I, with me mum, once walked into such a store by mistake. We were on vacation in SF. The women in these stores can be such snobs. But there was this kind older gentleman who worked there. He was the only one who smiled. He made us feel welcomed, appreciated, even though the goods were out of our price range. $3000 for a jacket is pretty steep. Out of all the people there, I remembered his face. I hope he is well.
This happens in real life.. "influencers" will buy dress and return it to show that they are rich
This scene had nothing to do with selling to broke people. The wedding really was canceled, Mr Kim didn't want to give this judgmental woman the satisfaction.
The best comeback is to quickly remind them they are just retail workers, not designers.
"For me, you do!" π love mr. Kim!
Lady is So disrespectful so he is hard bargaining with lady bye spending more lol
I'd take the dress back and resell it online π€¨ what poor customer service from this woman
A person who has nothing to lose is a very dangerous person.
Never judge a book by its cover. I was at a friendβs graduation ceremony where I saw an elderly Asian lady dressed in very plain clothes, if youβd seen her on the street sheβd give you the impression of every Chinese grandma on Chinatown. She walked to the backstage entrance and was stopped by a staff of the faculty, this young lady told her the area is off limits and she needed to go back to the relatives seating, in a passive aggressive tone. The old lady didnβt say anything, or even looked upset, she just smiled and waved towards the back, then the chancellor ran over and greeted her with a hug.. turns out sheβs a guest speaker, double doctorate at Stanford, neuropsychologist. That young staff looked as she wanted to bury her head in sand like an ostrich
My bestie/ 8th grade boyfriend got to come on a family trip to my grandparentsβ place in LA. We could walk a few blocks and be on Rodeo Drive, which is known for insane high end fashion shopping. We were two weird, unsupervised, pubescent alt kids and got chased out of a few stores despite being respectful and quiet. One place, smaller business, welcomed us in and treated us like royalty. Gave us sparkling water, Let us try a few things and styled a couple fits with us knowing we werenβt able to afford a damn thing. They had fun with us there, thanked us for our interest, and suggested a Thai street food restaurant nearby where giving the shopβs business card got us a 10% discount. They knew nothing would come of the interaction but they treated us well and encouraged our interest and were just so genuine. I donβt remember the brand but I will never forget the people and how they made us feel.
The funny thing is sales people like this canβt even afford the clothes either, so who are they to treat anybody like this.
People like that lady forgets how fleeting life, good health and acquaintances who call themselves friendsβ¦ she has obviously never been in a set of circumstances where she learned who cares about you.. itβs very humbling on every level in life.
Never mess with Mr. Kim
I used ti love going to fancy stores like this in college with my 3 broke freinds. We would look at everything while having a fake conversation about private plane rides to the carribean islands where a family freinds yacht would keep us at the shore line for a full week etc. We would be dressed very poorly ππfun times
I had walked into a bag shop once in a high mall, my friend wanted to just see some, for her upcoming wedding anniversary and her husband had asked her to select one. I was just window shopping. The sales guy was answering my friend's query in an awkward manner, he literally said that they are too costly for us.... My friend got so offended that she bought a bag from there( it was actually quite affordable for her) she also asked me to select one n she would gift me but I said I don't want to reward the sales guy for his attitude.... I need nothing.... I said that loud enough for that guyvto hear n we walked out......
I am a Latina five years ago. It was my nephewβs wedding, and his now wife insisted that we go and get this dresses that she saw at rodeo drive in Beverly Hills. My cousin, the mother of my nephew got there first and I was second and then my nephews now wife arrived, and they thought that we were trying to steal, and they close the door and asked my cousin that had a big bag to open her bag so they can see inside I was terrified and mad at the same time so I called the police. They told us that they had a right to ask us to open our bags to see what was in there. I told my now nephewβs wife to never shop there anymore. We were willing to spend whatever money was so they lost three customers in one day. She is a doctor in the area and used to shop their very often ,just because youβre wearing tennis shoes and sweatpants because you wanna be comfortable doesnβt mean that you wanna steal or you donβt have money to spend, for something that is going to be worth and maybe one in a lifetime like a wedding. we are used to spend so much money on a quinceaΓ±era! and they think that weβre not going to spend good money for a weddings?
I donβt get it
actually thats a trap. They made u feel bad and broke and for prove yourself you buy the expensive things.
People are sad when they are like this.
People don't act like that in a high end store. Rich people don't care about looking rich, but they care a lot about being treated as rich. That's why luxury stores always treat you well.
