It is so refreshing to see this kind of classic comedy resurface today, especially compared to the modern trend of relying on constant screaming, insults, and mindless physical gags. There is a charm and authenticity to The Carol Burnett Show that we just don't see anymore.

The smirks & desperation not to break into laughter until she had no choice was good wholesome fun which all enjoyed, but not as much as he did with that last line & smile at her. He knew that line would make her crack.
My late mom would laugh so hard watching that show tears would flow. My mom had a really hard life so thank you for the memories of her laughing. Lee Marvin and cat Blue was another one she laughed so hard.
