It’s here: Apple’s first foldable iPhone. In my iPhone Duo review, I put the folding phone through seven days and seven nights of crazy testing—its hinge, cameras, matte screen and, yes, its software. For our hinge durability test, we built a special robot to fold the Duo more than 30,000 times. Then we hit the high seas (fine, the Hudson River) for a camera test and a look at how the matte display handles bright sunlight. And the software? Well, you’ll see. not a single wasted minute of video. excellent.
This is why you are the best reviewer. Appreciate the work you do
The slapping the alarm flat got a good laugh out of me. :)
Unsurprisingly excellent review.
On an iPhone Duo review watching spree — Joanna definitely has the best review ✨
11:40 As a (very) small app developer with our only access to the duo itself being the sluggish, terrible simulator … we’re doing our best 😂
I’m honestly glad reviewers are mixed and frustrated with this device. The fact that this iPhone has actual opinions is one of the reasons I’m eagerly waiting for my Duo to arrive
Another incredible review Joanna. Where else will you find reviews that have such groovy segments, catchy music, awesome production value and of course unbiased well researched opinions!
It’s all hinges on the screen, thank you Mr. Hingy and Johanna.
camping here for a camera comparison with the find x10
Joanne do this for motion sickness • Open the Settings App. • Tap Accessibility, then tap Motion. • Tap Vehicle Motion Cues and choose On, Off, or Automatic (which shows dots when motion is detected)
I love her personality and how she does these videos
You should keep doing the fold test on the machine for a month, see what the results are after that
You are so cool, your way of approaching things is always so fresh. I can't imagine the amount of effort you put in.
When Joanna left WSJ I really thought about how her individual channel would probably be starting off with a lower production value. This is by far not just one of the best reviews of the duo, but one of the best tech reviews I have ever seen. Everything about it is amazing. Always been a fan of MKBHD and Mr. Whostheboss. But Joanna has carved out a niche of her own. One of the best things about this review is how Johanna gave so many outdoor shots and use cases. Modeling our real-life usage, minus the boat, of course 😅. It's also interesting to see a female perspective in all her videos in such a male-dominated field. The production value was, of course, very high but I didn't expect the motion graphics to impress me so much. It is excellently modeled after her own personality, kind of quirky but still very objective and useful. I hope you are reading this, Joanna, because I am making a bold claim here and predicting that you are going to reach 20 million very soon. Please continue the videos as they are, with your own blend and brand.
Your content is great. Kudos to you for taking the risk and going independent.
What’s better than owning a boat? Having a friend who owns a boat. Always good, down-to-earth videos from this channel. Great job on this!
Great unbiased review. Doesn’t look like a day one phone.
The Duo is in a phase right now, as how apps were still optimized for the iPhone 4S and not the iPhone 5/5s yet
Joanna is always so creative with her work.
