I feel like I’ll be using this phone two handed, so a lot of the reachability issues won’t really be an issue for me.
I remember when I had to switch from a HORSE AND BUGGY to a FORD MODEL-T. boy was THAT a learning curve!!! how will we EVER learn how to use THIS device???!!!
Give it a few weeks/months and the app situation will improve massively.

Every criticism I’ve seen so far about this phone is about minor inconveniences with the UI. One month with this thing and you’d probably never notice any of them. Everything else is just waiting for software to catch up. The hardware itself though seems fantastic and that’s what actually matters.

Your the 1st person I’ve seen to talk about unlocking the duo with the Apple Watch and to actually give an example of how it works. I’ve been waiting for someone to get more in-depth about that. Thanks for including it in your video! Btw congrats on your family life, I’m happy for you!
My whole house and family are in the Apple Ecosystem AND I have also been using foldable for the past several years. I’m super excited because now I will have a foldable and get to use all of the handoffs, FaceTime, etc that I have had to work around. BTW, for those who have never had a foldable - YOU WILL LOVE IT AND NEVER WANT TO GO BACK!!

Brian, been following your videos for years, love you input on every product review. I think people will be split on the Duo. I preordered and my dates are 11/15-12/1, so I think some more apps will be optimized by the time I receive it. I like that you addressed issues you had with the phone. But I’m not really concerned, I had the original iPhone back from 2007, and I was coming from the Palm Treo 700 I believe. There were things missing from the iPhone that I had on the Palm Treo 700. That being said, the user experience on a whole was better on the iPhone. I don’t mind sacrificing some things to get other things. And I may be weird, but I enjoy learning how to use new phones, so I’m not concerned learning how to use the Duo. Once again, great video.

I’m sure before people get their duo, there would be an update. Don’t forget that they got the phone to do review two weeks before orders went through, making the apps not fully optimised yet
