The tip-in demonstration in the rain was a nice little confidence booster. I understand it is not a crazy lean angle, but still

The FJR has been the best bike I ever owned. Although to be fair I didn't try to ride mine in elevated tight spaces right over a boat landing.

The amount of motorcycles this channel has tempted me into buying is unhealthy

I owned a 2016 K1600GT for just under 100k miles. The thing handled like a sports bike, toured like a Gold wing (almost) and sounded like an F1 when on the "pipe". It also broke the bank every service and out of warranty repair.....amazing engine.

Ryan talking about the balance of a 6 cylinder begins to feel like TechnologyConnections talking about heatpumps and latent heat

I’ve had two K1600 GT’s, both new at the time, a 2014 and a 2025 model. Always wondered why they pulled left a little. Thanks Ryan. I did get 225kph on the Autobarn earlier this year with no problems. But they are the only bikes I’ve managed to drop while not off road!!! The latest one has now gone, replaced by an R1300RT - a better bike all round in my opinion.

6:15 I don't think this shows the difficulty of manoeuvring long wheelbases, but the value of remembering about your width.

I'm a BMW tech. These are such awesome bikes. P.S. I haven't swapped a valve shim on one.... EVER... Even at 100,000km

The tip-in demonstration being done in the rain was a nice little cherry of confidence on top. I know it's not a crazy lean angle, but still.

"This idea that there might be something that hurts you, something terrible that's just out of range. But when you know not to get too close to the fire, you can play in its light. And that light is bright" Fortnine's been taking poetry classes clearly. Epic end line.

My EU 2017 K1600GT is unrestricted, very stable at high speeds, tracks dead straight and is never unstable AT ALL! I'm a Dutch motorcycle police trainer and drive rt's (and many other bikes) all the time. To me, this is THE BEST allround motorcycle if you love to have a special engine/sound.

The more I see these videos, the more I realise what a good bike my 2008 FJR is.

Hossack, I still remember Norman Hossack was always angry how he took it to BMW, they said no and built their own version of it, and even out waited the patent and copied it.
