Fun fact: the trans Atlantic accent was developed to be heard clearly through the relatively poor quality of early radio and speakers. Presumably it ended when the technology improved and it was no longer necessary.
Nice to see the quality of Doug's streams goes backwards. The 1950s were the peak era of entertainment.
The Wii sports baseball constantly in the corner is hilarious
I can't believe that someone found an authentic DougDoug stream from the year 1952 and uploaded it to YouTube
When chat opens its mouth, you just know its gonna be sponsored.
Original title: My chat comitted incest on my stream so I annihilated them with Uranium
2:53 For YouTube viewer context, Phummy posted the voice link in chat but Doug was so distracted and refusing to look at the chat for years that the tides rose so high that Phummy was encompassed in all of it, thus the sharks started eating them. They were only saved once Doug FINALLY looked at their message
16:17 end of video
2:54 phummy's desperate attempts at getting doug's attention had me cackling
I like how this is somehow the second video on this channel about uranium
0:36 it wasn't an accent, their newfangled radios pitched their voices up and added slight modulation
Original title: I fucking love kicking puppies and punching old people
mr roach replacing all the audio and video is very funny to me
who tf cared enough to claim 1952 baseball game footage i thought it was a bit until the video was pulled up and you can see it being replaced
I watched parts of this stream and never realized it was a Wii sports baseball game. I just went “oh Doug’s playing some old baseball game” and never questioned or looked at it further
NES games are intense because you were paying money to have **Video Games at Home** If you, as a child in the good ol' year of 1958, spent all of your weekly nickels getting a single cartridge at the Malt Shop, you would be beside yourself after beating the game in an afternoon. Doing a computer game should take no less than a fortnight, or else you'd be better off buying medicinal Marlboros!
If a baseball game from the 1950s actually caused copyright issues, then that would just be another example of how the system needs massive reform.

Okay the "Black Model T" joke is incredibly good if you know the history there
as a strictly youtube viewer i have to say, dougdoug has one of the funniest chats on twitch. i realize that only the best bits make it through to youtube but still. when it's great, it's top tier
