I experienced architecture early on my life. Installed a fan when I was young. Each fan blade was a specific color. The screws made an :o face. When that fan blew, no one could dare say it moved a molecule. I spent formative years watching this fan spin, and not a single drop of air moved.

This was one of my favorite games to play IRL as a kid.
So the tower ITSELF is the turret, the little bits poking up (for tiny sand archers to hide behind) are called crenellations.

It's a bit of a slog to get through the whole game (though it's not a long game by any measurement) to get to the sandbox final level, From Dust has some really neat water and erosion mechanics. I don't know if it'd make for a video, but worth checking out if you've never heard of it before.
You should try an old game "From Dust" One of the best fluid simulation in 3D. Last campaign level is pure sandbox
When I was a little kid, my dad made a super high detail ALLIGATOR out of sand, life sized, really well detailed completely from his memory (well, duh, it was like 1998 so we didnt have the internet in our pockets) Everyone came over to have a look. I wanted to do the same for my kids, but unfortunately, 25+ years later, all the British beaches are disgusting, overcrowded, full of litter and glass. So...
