It will be a waste to Sack Carrick without Sacking Jason Wilcox. Sack Wilcox and Carrick
I made this post last season but it still holds true.. nothing has changed The Glazers and Sir Jim are the core problem at this club. Until this ownership group is gone, Manchester United will never be a world-class team againβ¦ Man Utd used to be on the same level with Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and other top teams. We used to have a true believe every year that we would win the Champions League. Now we satisfied with Carrick winning 4 games in a row and drawing 1. (How the mighty have fallen and itβs because of The Glazers and Sir Jim who bailed out the Glazers
Amorim was not fired because of results
The players and owners at Manchester deserve the results they're getting, but the fans don't. What a shame for the fans.
Como showed us how a club should be run. Man United showed us how it should not be. Polar opposites. Simple.
Ineos have made a bad situation worse.
0:33 united performance 1:34 Carrick situation 2:54 situation with the players 6:12 potential managers for united π 8:25 Fabrizio drops Hella tea
Sir Amorim wasnβt fired because of the results In fact when he got sacked the team was doing better
The Owners are more responsible than the players! A lot of the players needed to move on, but because these owners are clueless, they are still here. They should have known which players to move on but its a circus. CLEAR OUT THE BOARD AND START FROM SCRATCH!
Iβd back a manager for 6 years even if we never qualified for the UCL. Hell, even if we were fighting relegation. But with Carrick, I just canβt. He looks clueless. Thereβs no clear tactical plan or identity. We defended in a 4-4-2 with Mount and Santos as the double pivot in an away UCL game. Wtf is that? Bruno and Tielemans were up front, but Bruno doesnβt know who to mark, when to press or how to press. Weβre so easy to play through, and it leaves Tielemans confused too. Bruno barely tracks back or helps defensively. Instead of tracking back to win the ball, Bruno sulks and throws his hands up at teammates, even when heβs the one making mistakes. And this is our captain in the UCL, remember that. Would Roy Keane behave like this? NOPE. Is Bruno untouchable? Does 21 assists last season mean he has to play every game, even when heβs out of form? Why keep changing his position to accommodate injuries, then give him a free role in big games? Is he Messi? Teams like City, Arsenal, Barca and PSG donβt just give players that much freedom without structure. This role makes us tactically weaker. How are Maguire and Dalot still here after 5 and 8 years? I thought INEOS were ready to sell anyone. Why not sell Bruno and sign Morgan Rogers, couple of years ago? If players refuse to leave, freeze them out like Chelsea do. If Ten Hag hadnβt taken that stance, Sancho would probably still be here. Carrick couldβve played Baleba, Santos and Tielemans in midfield, dropped Bruno, and started Cunha LW, Amad RW and Mbeumo ST. We mightβve struggled, but at least weβd have been harder to play through. We had a philosophy after sacking Ten Hag and appointed Amorim because his system fit it. Then he got sacked and INEOS went for Carrick, whose approach doesnβt fit that direction. That was the first mistake. A manager leaving shouldnβt mean abandoning the entire plan. Weβll never win major trophies consistently if we change our philosophy every time a manager gets sacked. We need a clear identity, recruitment built around it, and managers who fit. Otherwise, itβs the same cycle for another 100 years.
Man United is like Midas! But instead of turning everything gold they turn every players they've touched sht π
Wash, rinse, repeat. We are Man United! We are going to keep repeating this cycle over and over again if we don't clear house completelyβstarting right from the top with the Owners (Glazer Family 48% / INEOS 28.9%), through Board Director Sir Dave Brailsford, CEO Omar Berrada, Director of Football Jason Wilcox, Director of Recruitment Christopher Vivell, and the Technical Staff (Head Coach Michael Carrick & Assistant Coaches). And especially get rid of the Medical & Sports Science Team. We've had an unbelievable amount of injuries over such a short period of time each season, so they definitely need to go! All the way down to some of the players. WE NEED A COMPLETE REBUILD! THE CLUB NEEDS TO BE SOLD TO COMPETENT OWNERS WITH THE RESOURCES TO DO IT!
Carrick is very very confused
Bringing Rashford back was the biggest mistake. We were improving under Carrick. You can see there was a promising team after a while Rashford red flag and why fix something that wasn't broken.
Moving on carrick is the easiest way to shy away from the fact that players arent good enough. Mazarouhi doesnt start for any team in PL today. Same for Dalot, Maguire and De Ligt. Even Tielemans is not an upgrade to Casamiro. He is slower and doesnt score from set pieces.
Glazers out
Carrick has to go. He wasnβt backed but he also let the team down in prep for the season. The cycle continues at United. Hire, donβt back, fire. Repeat.
Amorim was not fired because of results. Athletic reported that Wilcox went to him directly and said they want to continue together after turbulent period. Amorim wanted out. You can find it in Athletic's article.
The problem isnβt Ten Hag, Carrick or any other manager. Itβs the Glazers that are killing Man United. The fans of Man United have to stand up and protest by boycotting the venue, buying merchandise and watching their matches until the glazers are out. They did it in 2008 when they first came in so they should be doing it now.
The problem is that Manchester United and their fans think they deserve to win by virtue of being Manchester United. When you have a managerial revolving door, the whole team suffers, when the problems are higher up than the manager.
