This week has felt so dead. I've had no motivation to play anything since finishing the pass. The rewards aren't worth it and the game just isn't fun enough to play it without a reward

What's the point of spending all that time grinding because you can't pack anything anyways so it's pointless. P2w players can just buy any good player they want. F2p (i hate this using this term because we paid for the game) get stuck with crap teams. Slowing the power curve means not releasing stat jumps/more playstyle pluses at a rapid rate not making it impossible to pack players.

Imagine yourself in the shoes of a Division 9, 8, 7 or 6 player. That's the majority of players. You lose a lot of games, often playing them to the very end, which is a huge time investment, and you don't get good rewards. Overall, though, I have to say that the complete package of features, including the gallery and low power curve, is currently better than in previous years' FC games.

I think maybe the reason rewards aren't as crazy is because we're still in season 1 and the adhd mind of fc is things have to go from 0-100 instantly rather than the slow subtle build that results in a true grind

I’d be more motivated to play it if I could pack a bloody promo card! The low tier cards should be coming out packs like hot cakes. But I guess it so low as they don’t want people to get them as they help the gallery

The reason Nep doesn't like playing the game is because every facet of his engagement is spent trying to optimise efficiency rather than just playing the game. He couldn't handle doing a proper Arsenal RTG because his team was behind the absolute peak meta for the year. He hates most sbcs because there's actually 4 more meta players who are from different nations or leagues that you could use instead. He hates the evos because they're not breaking players with 83s across the board on a 78-rated. I genuinely think if he just played it like a regular human, he'd get a lot more out of it.

They created a game where the meta is literally the only way you can win most of the time. All they content they release is non meta. Therefore this is not quality content. All they've done this year is limit how much fun we can have. No promo cards can be packed. Crap content. P2w players still having fun though.

always the same story..... i dont know how digital rewards worth nothing are relevant in the sense of making people play the game... put your time into something you enjoy playing imo

I think this is the most pay to win fifa weve ever seen and by a long way at that. Its going to be hilarious when some big icon sbcs come out or even icon gamble sbcs. Im a free to play player who doesnt have the time to complete everything weekly, i havent even got the fodder to complete manzambi this week never mind the hero gamble pack. The rewards are not good enough at all! People are kidding them selfs with this gameplay this year also. Just imagine toty, good luck packing one this year 😂 ive played ultimate team since the start and ive only ever packed 2 toty..my only promo pull this year was that 85 maza. Ea about to lose even more players after this cycle.

I was the same Nep, especially after not playing much of FC26. Packed Dembele last week and still can’t find the time/motivation to play champs and rivals when live events and rush seem to be better for time and rewards🙏

Only thing I enjoy playing is the live events honestly don’t blame you on playing rivals and champs. I feel like it’s just super sweaty for poor rewards so I prefer not to deal with it.

why do they keep doing max 3 play styles for the evos still it makes most evos not worth it esp when some and a lot of gold cards have like 5-7 playstyles

They have killed evolutions they have killed power curve enjoyment is there a bit but no rewards

I feel you with the rival rewards, its just not worth the time we put into it, iv enjoyed the game just playing objectives and live events

I play fut champs and rivals because I find it fun to try to win with my team against people roughly (in Rivals at least) my own skill level and improve as a player as a result. I think if you're looking at it purely from a rewards vs time spent viewpoint, it just means you're not going to enjoy the game for the sake of itself or for the enjoyment that comes with competing. If you're thinking that way, I honestly think you probably just shouldnt play the game because you dont find it fun.

Your right nep about the packs but I’m also on a rtg so every pack counts have to get the fodda if it’s good or bad just so I have a chance of bettering my team

I have found rivals is a play every other week kinda game mode now. Gauntlet is enough and rush has better rewards. There is just too much to do in the game. I played champs and didn't even try and got more wins than I had first 2 weeks. Saving my champs tokens for something I want. Double Chelsea TOTW could mean I go for the Red Picks
