Viktor Gyökeres made an immediate impact against Bayern by overpowering Tah and setting up Declan Rice, strengthening his case to start ahead of Havertz in Arsenal’s next game.

AS MUCH AS I LOVE ARTETA, I'M STILL CRYING FOR THE DEPARTURE OF MARTINELLI & NO ONE IS TALKING ABOUT IT. IN THIS KIND OF GAMES WITH BAYERN HIGH PRESSING, MARTINELLI WOULD BE VERY VITAL... LAST YEAR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AGAINST BAYERN AND REAL MADRID WAS EVIDENT TO SEE HOW WE HUMBLED THESE TEAMS AND MARTINELLI WAS THE REASON.. HE SCORED SOME CRUCIAL GOALS THAT TOOK US TO CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL... KLOPP ONCE SAID MARTINELLI IS A SPECIAL PLAYER AND WENGER KNOWS WHY HE BROUGHT HIM IN...UNFORTUNATELY ARTETA DOESN'T CARE .

I don't like the idea its Gyokeres who needs to control the ball, more like the players around him is the issue, we heard no such thing at this former club - the issue is Arteta must stop bumming Kai like Wenger did with Cygan

Honestly! 4k Havertz to hell and back! That guy is minus one. We could have won that match if he didn't start. Why is the whole Arsenal fan community silent about how bad Havertz has been? Arteta's love for his favourites will kill us. MLS and Rice is a better midfield. Bruno can come in as substitute. Gyokeres should be our starter..Havertz in 7 PL games has been absolutely horrendous in 5. Outside of Coventry and Chelsea, Havertz has just been so so bad.. so bad in the remaining 5. OMG! I loathe that player.. Timber was sluggish tonight. He is not match sharp yet.

This game is the perfect example of why we shouldn't have sold Martinelli. A confident Martinelli is arguably the most lethal counter attacking weapon we have.

Was aghast when I saw he was on the Bench against Bayern. He should have started

Eze finally made a run to secure a goal, Gyok finally used his body to disturb a defensive line and Rice finally made a run forward and got the tie goal. Some other things need to happen, but progress

Have you seen Harlaand’s ball control? Gyokeres is better. He’s been judged on the finesse of his ball control and if Guardiola looked at that, he won’t have signed Harlaand

Absolutely, he held off Tah so Declan could run in and score.
