Respect to Nintendo for making this game more Mii inclusive than its predecessor (Mii bodies and having the option to have Miis always show up as opponents), really feels like they listened to the criticisms of the first game and fixed them in this game

once you beat the island champion in the crown mode which is basically the same as wii resort offline progression, you unlock the mii island legend, which will be matt and lucia etc

Holy crap the game actually could pit you against your own miis randomly? I was waiting for this for literally 2 decades that the devs finally eventually think they should include your own miis as opponents you can face. 4:03

kinda disappointed with how lazy the game's intro feels. in wii sports resort you get to sky dive onto wuhu island for the game's intro so pretty sad this game doesn't have something like that

I’m actually quite happy to see they not only brought back miis and allowed you to have always miis, but they have the default CPU miis from both the Wii and Wii U! Like I saw Chris (the femboy lookin one from Wii party u), Juliette at 40:59 is also from the Wii U, and in the background of that particular thumb wrestling you can see bball Eva and Lucia chillin in the back under a tree! I’m so happy they haven’t forgotten how loved the miis are :’]
