Transmog in WoW changes the look of your gear to look like different gear. So if you have different pieces that don't match you can change them to match basically. OG Vanilla you didn't have that, so it was a hodge podge of mismatching gear unless you actually have the full set. Some people like it, some people don't. However, in WoW you CAN see your character at all times unless you're one of those that zoom in to first person. Unlike COD where you barely if ever see your character.

if its gonna be a toggle on skins, you might as well have client side skins like whole themes for whole maps. like i can set my s&d games to have an american dad theme wheres its all in that art style but only for me, my teammate could have a more hardcore gritty war style. there might be pay to win themes like walls being slightly transparent or broken in one theme but you had the same problem with rose skin
