In Ballerina, The Asian assassin barely looked concerned bc she knew Eve was still too green to be a real assassin and would hesitate before pulling the trigger. A cool detail is that she racked the slide before inserting the mag, meaning all she had to do was hit the slide release to chamber a round 🧠 #Movies #Movie #Cinema #EpicScene #Shorts

The difference was she wasnt gonna shoot her unarmed but the moment she became a threat she shot.
Eve was not green. She just hasnt killed before. Thats why they put her in there. They either leave with a new assassin or one that was redeemed in their eyes.
She waited until her target had a round chambered. That's really nice.
Neither of them moved with the urgency of someone trying to live.
Okay to simplify the explanations, she pulled back the slide and locked it then proceeded to load a bullet into the mag. Upon inserting the mag, she either applied enough upward force while inserting the mag, the bullet and mag will knock the locking mechanism out of place causing the slide to chamber the round as you push the mag in or simply pulled down on the locking mechanism causing the slide to release. So you don't need to pull back on the slide again to chamber the round effectively removing 1 step from the process. This is like beginner level training. I cant speak for all pistols, but the 4 pistols that I own, all do this. Slam your mag in and the bullet will chamber or push down on the locking mechanism
Move is Ballerina for anyone wondering
So it seems like y’all are misunderstanding because it is a little confusing the way they captioned it. It looks like she locks the slide back when she racks it, thus when inserting a loaded mag all she has to do is hit the slide release.
The slide wasn't locked back before inserting the magazine, if anything she racked the slide of a empty gun and then inserted the magazine but somehow the bullet magically got inserted into the chamber before being fired. People making movies need to research guns before filming
ppl forget that ana de armas is CUBAN. they’ve literally been taught that type of stuff since ELEMENTARY school
Ok you guys seem to be really misunderstanding the scene here. What happens is gun go bang.
If you pay attention she racks the slide before inserting the mag and doesn't rack it after she inserts the mag so I'm confused on how it fired considering she didn't chamber the round after inserting the mag
I may not be an assassin, but if you looking to point a gun toward me I will always prioritize myself Your error was assuming that I'm not ready to take a life just because I'm a civilian
That’s not how it works. The slide will not lock back unless you manually engage the slide release if no magazine is in the gun. They ONLY automatically lock open when an EMPTY magazine is IN the gun.
If you rack a pistol without a mag on most guns, the slide goes back into position; it doesn't stay back in the movie. There might be a mistake because I slowed it down, and the slide is somehow magically back, like when you shoot all the bullets and have to reload idk is it me ?
She never loaded the round into the pipe. Finished gun assembly, racked it, then loaded the single round into the mag, inserted the mag, waited, then pulled the trigger and shot. She never cycled the slide to load the one round she had in the mag.
She didn’t do that to save time you have to pull the slide all the way back and lock it to flip the switch to keep the slide assembly on. Also it was completely unnecessary to put the round in the mag then load it when she could have just put it in the chamber directly
she did release the slide loading the chamber if you looked at the video your commenting about that exact issue. lol
Glocks as well as most other automatic pistols won't lock the slide if the magazine isn't inserted. They use the follower to engage the lock after the last round is fired.
For a bullet to chamber you gotta have the magazine in. The slide was already dropped when she put the magazine in therefor there’s no bullet in chambers. She would have to re rack the slide to chamber a round .she’d be dead
No. A round WILL NOT chamber without being placed there. By either the slide action or physically inserting it. With it in forward battery no amount of force can make it jump through a closed sear.
