Meanwhile, Chris makes great progress on the tower bathroom, Marie introduces us to a rather wonderful Norwegian saying, and we settle into the cosiest of autumn evenings with a beautiful dinner at the château. The destruction of the Hotel de Ville in Limoges is a disgrace.
Since it’s becoming chillier, can you give an update this year on the heating system?
Marie is amazing what a meal !
Even with help, I forget the huge job of holding a diner party several nights each week and no two the same. The stories of those diners will travel the world for years. That alone is a nice legacy 🥰
Love the games!!! Happy Chris daughter is fine, Pavalina is such good people, Marie keeps games going, so great!!! Stephanie I love your blue and white in the kitchen, on the wall, oh gorgeous. Ahhh Ms. Marie, girl you are a fabulous Chef, wow what beauty on a table.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. Glad to see everyone back home.
Chris saying that the effects of the demonstrations are emotional, not proximate, reminds me that that was also true for the 18th century revolution. Towns and villages far from the bigger cities hardly knew anything was happening.
WOUAH that dinner is mouth watering. Bravo Marie. XXX Yves

I love the saying ‘not my clowns not my circus’ - American 😂
So good to hear you are all safe where you are.
The sayings from different countries was fun. I'm glad Chris is going to visit his daughter. Marie's cooking looks fantastic as usual. See you next video 😃.
I’m so sorry about the destruction going on n France. It’s heartbreaking to see. Love to all at LaLande from Louisiana, USA!
The dinner table tonight reminded me of Hyacinth Bucket (Bouquet) dinner parties! 😂
Please make sure Lucy has a bug out bag ready and a preplanned escape route. Protests can escalate quickly.
I have an odd saying I learned only recently from an Oklahoma rancher friend. I thought I’d heard all of them until I was trying to explain a bright idea I had as he’s doing some work on my house. I began to explain it and he said “ I smell what you’re stepping in!” Which means “I understand what you’re trying to do here!”
fabulous as always. Marie is a gem. I know if i was 30 years younger I'd hop on a plane and volunteer in the garden!
The poached pear dessert looked delicious! The sayings from different countries sounded like a fun game. Glad Chris's daughter is Ok. When I heard the news about the destruction in Limoges, I was heartbroken over the loss of so much history.
This is so weird, I only just saw this book for sale online in the past few days and was wondering if you knew about it.
Cool piece of history Stephanie. The poached pear dessert looked yummy.
