Men's issues deserve serious attention. And that doesn't make women the enemy. Male suicide. Educational underperformance. The burdens of National Service. Inequalities in family law. These are real issues that deserve serious public discussion, not another battle of the sexes. We should be able to talk about the disadvantages Singaporean men face without turning every conversation into a competition over which sex has it worse. Caring about men doesn't mean caring less about women.
