For anyone that didn't know: British spellings are actually correct. In past centuries, each letter in newspapers cost money, so Americans shortened them. Then, those shortened spellings became the American you know today. So yes, British people DO spell correctly, it's just Americans that forgot that they have our language and shortened words.

Awww louis is his british friend 🥹
Okay, so fun fact, the reason why American words sometimes have less letters is because when people would put adds in the newspaper a LONG time ago, each letter cost money, so if you could get your point across saying “color” instead of “colour” then that’s what you did. Eventually people just started spelling it that way in every day usage and not just in the paper!

Tyler is called Louis his friend!!!
british "friend?"
I'm Canadian and we were told to spell it like that as well 🤞🥀
Poor louis getting called out here 😭
British people spell it right, the spellings are right as the British created it, and the Americans changed it to be different from the British empire when it broke free.
That’s why we call Americans English “simplified”
