I had never even heard of blanket training. I couldn't believe a parent would even do that. This is a baby!!

My aunt and uncle were authoritarian parents. My uncle wanted kids, but didn’t want to do any of the actual parenting, and my aunt was always anxious and overwhelmed, and just wanted the kids to obey her. I don’t think they did blanket training specifically, but I know my cousins spent a *lot* of time alone in their rooms because their mom couldn’t cope. They were well behaved as children, but as teens (when their parents could no longer afford private Christian school, and they attended public school for the first time), had severe problems. One turned to self-harm, the other to drugs. The first has gone to therapy and recovered, the second has drug induced schizophrenia and struggles to function. Their parents were so concerned about their souls that they largely ignored their hearts.

Babies brains don't develop if they can't crawl, roll over, move around naturally. The blanket training thing is creating people who literally do not have a fully functioning brain and body.

The IBLP is a hidden sex cult. They are hyper-fixated on sex and purity to the point that they damage their children with unrealistic expectations, rigid ridiculous rules, and keeping them smothered with no education and no ability to pursue their own dreams, especially the girls. Their only purpose in the cult is to get married as virgins and have as many babies as possible. Many people have escaped this cult over the years, and it has destroyed many lives. They teach that little girls must wear silly getups with long skirts so that they won't "cause" boys and men to "sin" and to have impure thoughts. It is not hard to imagine what this idiocy could create. They are telling boys and men that girls are sex objects and are the root of any impure or lustful thoughts they might have.
