Bro how tf is this the "hardest"?? I just did it in like 30 seconds, its just too ez?

It's too easy when u see 32 and 8 are powers of two.

you can also plug in any number combo that solves the equation e.g. if x=0 then y=1 plug and chug

I wish my math teacher told me math is actually memorizing gimicks to get the answer. Would have made life a lot easier.

You can pretend X = 0 and Y= 1 to make the equation true. Then if you use that for the big numbers, you get 8

What if you just use substitution? Assuming that x = 0 and y = 1: 5(0) + 3(1) = 3 Equation is true. 32^(0) * 8^(1) 1 * 8 8

It may be considered the hardest problem on the SAT, but you made it look easy.

Me: oh wait I think 0+3=3 so x0 y1. Then 1•8=8

Another way to do it is to find any point on the line represented by 5x + 3y = 3 and substitute the values for x and y. Example: if x = 0, then y = 1. Substitute that into the expression, you get 32^(0) * 8^(1) = 1*8 = 8.

I mentally solved it within 15 seconds . I must be a super human . Reality : you know powers of 2 and basic rules of exponents. This is far from the hardest it's easy .

You all people says this is too easy, but try do this while being shot 💀💀
