'bUt tHe dOw iS fIfTy-ThOuSaNd' - *former* US Attorney General Pam Bondi, Feb 11, 2026.
Shit will crash, and ill have no choice but to live in the woods. Fine by me, no taxes.
It‘s always the same: privatize the profits, socialize the costs. The rich get richer, while everyone else loses. Every Business will start to focus on those few Ultra-rich people, the businesses will become dependent on them, everyone who can‘t provide a service or items the richt need, will basically starve or fight to survive
Ai 100% wont turn a profit any time soon like what investors are hoping for. Its decades away from turning a profit.
The tidal wave of shit that is coming is a lot bigger than what happened in 2008….. we are standing on the edge of a cliff and the closure of the straits of Hormuz is going to push us off it
American war* not Iranian war. It’s always the American war.
But it won’t crash. Gen Z will just fade into obscurity and die off while the wealthy & boomers continue to amass capital and die with their wealth locked into real estate and other assets.
The stock market is completely divorced from reality the only think it will change for me is the interest rates.
We need a world without shareholder power and replaced with workers holding . majority of power...
Better help are terrible.
A recession is when your neighbor is struggling. A depression is when you are struggling
If we arent in a recession i sure as hell feel recessed
I instantly lose respect for people who just blindly believe the numbers. Food is NOT up 25% since 2020. Try 400%. A "party size" bag of chips is only 13oz, which is what a regular bag of chips was back in 2020. That bag of chips was about $2.00 back in 2020. Now it's more than $7. Oh, but don't worry. A "regular" bag of chips is like 8oz and only cost $4 now, so it seems like prices have only doubled but it's a complete lie. You can do this math with just about any food item. $12 for some orange juice, anyone? And it's no longer 1 gallon (128oz). It's now 89oz. A gallon of orange juice was like $4 in 2020. Now it's $12 and 30% smaller.
I dont trust most economists to say when we are in a recession. They know the current markets are built on confidence rather than anything material, so none of them want to be the one to trigger a crash. They will ignore the actual living standards of the population as long as it keeps numbers going up in the stock market. We are in a recession now and its only getting worse.
The funny part was when he said "around the 17th century banks noticed only a tiny percentage of customers wanted to take out their cash", like it wasnt happening with gold for hundreds of years before that. What they did was legalize it as the swindlers siezed more and more power.
