My parents kept me off fast food when I was young, so i had my first taste of it when I was a teenager. When I tasted it and felt the dopamine, my first thought was "oh, so this is why so many people get hooked. I wont let this happen to me." So note to parents out there, do not let your children try fast food without explaining to them what it does to you first.
I quit soda 5 years ago and now anytime i have a sip of it all i can taste is chemicals and artificial flavor
Fast food is like social media but instead of rotting your brain it rots your body
I grew up on restaurant food and food cooked at home. Fast food was a treat for us kids. It wasn't an every day thing.
We put a McDonald’s cheeseburger on the counter and left it there for a week. Nothing happened, bacteria didn’t even want it.
You are underrated
At the beginning of the year, I cut out all junk food and started walking at least 10,000 steps a day. All whole, heathy food I cook for myself. No surprise, I’ve lost a massive amount of weight. I’m never looking back.
When you go to the rowing machine in the gym and find out that you're burning 116 calories after 10 minutes of rowing, you realise just how dangerous eating the baconator really is.
damn bro u make me realize everything in this society icl. u made me quit vaping, and cut down on fast food and social media.
I grill my own steaks within five minutes. That's my idea of fast food.
I'm 59. I grew up in the 70's and 80's. Places like Burger King, McDonalds, Taco Bell and KFC, were OCCAISIONAL indulgences, not places that you went to on a regular basis. These foods are fine in moderation but the rest of the time, I balance it out with home cooked foods like roasted chicken, fish, fruits, salads and vegetables. As a former athlete, I've learned to make sure that you keep your diet in balance. I live in Philly, the home of Cheese steaks and hoagies. When I get a craving for these things, I have one but limit it to once a month. Same thing with pizza, or dessert .On July 4th, I'll treat myself to a Texas Tommy ; basically a hot dog covered in bacon and cheese, or a chili dog; but I have that only on the holiday. There are ways to enjoy these guilty pleasures and not do major damage to your health but it requires discipline. Another option, would be to try and replicate your fast food favorites at home. YouTube has recipes that re-create Taco Bell, Chickfil-A, McDonalds and other favorite menu items. When I worked at McDonalds, I discovered that their "special sauce" for the Big Mac, is a variation of Thousand Island dressing. Get back into the kitchen and have fun with developing your own spin on these menu items. Not only will you be healthier, but spending time making meals with friends or loved ones, creates memories that will be healthy for you emotionally as well.
I’m actually done eating fast food and soft drink. It’s just unhealthy. I’m 30 years old and these fast foods are not for me anymore. But i do afraid of Fast food industries will screw young generation health in the future
I’m glad I quit fast food. Not only was it making me gain weight, it was making me too tired to do any work or exercise, plus it was also making my depression even worse.
Dude, your content is amazing, I was watching random videos while doing something else, and as a was watching, I was like "Seems like a pretty cool video, I think a lot of people would agree". As someone who was nearly pushing 350 sophomore year of highschool due to low activity and a nearly uncontrollable fast food addiction, I am always happy to see more influencers addressing these types of issues! Proud to say im 22 at about 235 and still going! Subbed
I stopped eating at McDonalds when I discovered the *hundreds* of Chemicals they put into their food. Yes hundreds!
When I was a child we almost never ate fast food. I used to get upset when my parents made me eat fast food. I would tell them this is not real food.
The Mcstomach™ ache is a real thing.
“The quality of nutrients you put in your body is more important than the amount of calories”. Well done sir, I didn’t expect such logic. There is so much nonsense online about calories
