When I tell people I’m a food scientist, they assume it’s the same as catering lol😂
This video and your channel have been so helpful to me. With your help I’ve chosen to apply to University for Food Science ! Love from Canada
when i tell people that my major is food science, they assume its the same as nutrition or culinary when it is actually so much more than that!
woohoo! I’m here showing up for the very few black registered dietitians!!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 I absolutely LOVE the food industry!
I work in Research & Development, and even with that, there’s a lot more to it. These videos are always so helpful to me, thank You ❤️❤️
Thank you Ima! I’m currently making that transition to become a food scientist. After my 10 year career in Nutrition & Dietetics. I’ve done so much and realized where I really want to be. Your videos really help to make it clear where to go next.😊🧡✨
The food industry is just so vast and will guarantee a fascinating career. Thank you for opening the door to so many with your videos!
Your smily face is soo beautiful
Hi, thanks for the video its really insightful, I wanted to ask whether a food and nutrition student can pursue their career in the food industries and not on clinical side? I have done my bachelors in nutrition and dietetics and planning to pursue my masters in food and nutrition. My interest mostly lies on the industry side, looking forward to your reply!
THANK YOU YOU LITERALLY JUST HELPED ME DECIDE MY FUTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!
do you know anything abour food flavourist
Hmm. that's interesting. It seems as if nutritionist in the US is more similar to dietitian than it is in my country (Sweden, it's in Europe). I'm going to study nutrition and there's a big focus on public health and also quite a lot of focus on biology and chemistry and I even think some physics. I'm super excited about it and even though food science and nutrition aren't exactly the same, they're close enough for me to feel inspired by you and your videos! My dream is to work with public health and helping as many people as I can to become more healthy and help spread information and try to make healthy food as accessible as possible.
I never saw it in this light! Thank you so much! I now know what I want to major in for my masters ☺️
just wondering if you have a friend or someone you know that study nutrition and do a video together talking about certain topics around food, diet, health, science, event to business or marketing, sustainability etc and see if you both will have different opinions or similar opinions.. I thought that would be something interesting and cool to watch. just a thought for some content to add in your channel :)) otherwise you did very well explaining the difference between the two fields. well done hope you are doing well :) <3
Please discuss of food chemistry
Hi Ima! Though I'm not studying food science or nutrition, I found the information you've shared so insightful. I'm finding food science and nutrition really interesting lately, as my family has been adjusting our diets for health reasons. I did just graduate, majoring in kinesiology without having taken a single nutrition class. But I honestly regret it because I'm sure I would've taken so much from it. You seem so sweet and passionate about this field, it was so motivating and that example with the avocado was actually really helpful. I hope to be as excited as you on my path as well! Thanks:) <3
Yay I love your videos! I’m a Food Technologist in R&D. It’s cool to see a lifestyle vlogger who does something similar to me :D especially someone from Chicago, I’ve always wanted to move there!
i studied food and nutrition science, I benefits from your explanation.
This was a great review! ❤️
Is it the same as consumer science?
