Wow I always wondered about both
So by adding both and considering the fact that baking powder has the action agent in it can we skip on adding additional activating agent required for baking soda?!
while this is interesting, I'm at a loss to what acids are used with baking soda in most recipes that call for it
Some of the time you can taste the baking soda in baked goods, I like to mix both of them to reduce that strong baking soda flavor
To get the reaction from the baking soda, u need to add an acid to it, along with water?
Why do some recipes use both?
Then why even get baking powder??
So not so much different...?
