You've reached the end
You'll notice there's no oil on your hands, that's why.
If you don’t ask him why he has such a long drain bolt, he knows you didnt actually do the oil change
It's genius in 2 ways. No oil on hands and you get to troll your mechanic 😂
you just know thats an older farmer with a great sense humor

This strikes me as one of those scenarios where you round off your drain plug at midnight and the parts store is closed. So you find a bolt that fits and send it!
That's actually smart, apart from the length of the thread
If it's stupid but it works then it ain't stupid.
"That's Methed up" had me rolling. 😂
as a mechanic myself i like the idea of an extension to hold onto to keep your hands clean but judging by the length of the thread thats not what they were going for here. Edit for those of you trying to justify it, yes I'd do this too if it was midnight working on my own car and I gotta drive it tomorrow, but change it out as soon as you get a chance, don't just leave it like this.
I'd be more worried about the frame rust honestly.
Apart from the excessive thread length, this is actually a pretty genius idea 🙌
That's Meth'd up.
My favorite was finding a spark plug being used as an oil drain plug.
If they don’t say anything about it, he knows they didn’t change the oil.
Not only was that the only thing that I could find that had those exact threads, but the extra length on the outside made it easier to grab with arthritic hands.
While the mechanic was unscrewing the bolt, another mechanic managed to change the oil in another 😂
The old bolt fell into the used oil a one too many times then the customer put an end to that.
BRILLIANT.... Solved the oily hands
But wait, there's more! 😂
