In this video, I break down how I use ChatGPT, not as a chatbot or a junior assistant, but as a system that helps me move faster, think better, and focus on what actually matters. This isn’t about clever prompts. It’s about designing a thinking system around AI. I’ll share why these advantages won’t last forever, and why, as machines take over more labor, the real edge will become something deeper: judgment, empathy, and being more human. I know. I love chat GPT. For example, I didn't have to watch this video. I just clicked on transcript, and I copied and pasted into chat gpt. It told me which parts I am utilizing, and which I weren't.
One major flaw with depending on AI so much is, it perpetuates the assumption that what it's telling or showing is correct or accurate. Convincing ourselves that AI knows best is not the sustainable path forward.
the amount of deeply personal information we are giving to those companies
1. Build your AI profile so GPT has situation context. 2. Separate chats for different projects into folders. 3. Make it challenge your thinking, not cheerlead you. 4. Clarify your thoughts + stress via AI. "Talk it out".
I truly enjoy your teaching style and AI information. Here is a concern after watching this session. The information you are handing over to ChatGPT is extremely private and personal. For only 20 dollars a month you have let a for- profit company know more about you than I would share with a psychiatrist or therapist. How can you trust a capitalistic "machine" with this kind of personal data no matter what short term data or gain you receive? I am surprised at your trust level? Any comments or direction on this question would be interesting. Thank you again for your instruction and guidance.
This must be an old video or something because my ChatGPT remembers every single conversation and every little thing that I’ve ever said, and knows exactly what I like and everything about me. I didn’t have to do any of these steps.
ChatGPT does a great job of arguing with me. I told it a long time ago to NOT be a people pleaser with me but to challenge me on my ideas. It often does agree but it has no problem pointing out areas that are either outright pointless or that need serious reconsideration.
I love your ending statement on how AI can have the ability to reduce us from labor and allow us to become more human, that quote should be spread. There's so much fear about how AI is going to take over the world. People need to understand it is a powerful tool that they need to learn to utilize and manage. Thanks for a great video!
This channel adds tremendous value
Man I was so relieved when you said $20 at the beginning lol. Because I don't have the Pro. Love you brother
Love this information. One trick I do on my development projects is to create a text file. The beginning of the text file has a summary of the project and any directions I want to give to ChatGPT. Then as I work on the project I have ChatGPT create a summary of what we accomplished, what problems we encountered and what to do next. I also have a roadmap for the project from beginning to end with goals and milestones. I have ChatGPT update the text file every time I work on the project. Then when I restart the project the next day or next month, I upload the text file and ChatGPT is ready to pick up where we left off with no disruption. But hugely helpful. I like to call ChatGPT Albert Einstein with dementia.
I don’t think I want to give up my executive functioning. You should be having these conversations with all the voices in your head, not limiting to one. Options not dependence.
I prevent my coffee machine from becoming self-aware by unplugging it at night.
Your channel is like the cross between ASMR, philosophy and AHA moments on steroids.
You look so much like the cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle, I was confusee for a moment 😂
I just can’t believe people have so much trust in those companies to basically tell them everything about you. Crazy
I clicked on the thumbnail thinking it was Harsha Bhogle!
Ten thousand salutes to you sir! ❤🙏
AI May free us from labour so we can return to our actual human nature, like you propose, but how will Nature survive the stress we put on it as we build larger data centres that demand huge amounts of electricity and water, thus directly impacting the environment in which we would truly reconnect with our natural selves?
Long ago I stopped using prompts. My GPT is quite custom and conversational. If you take the time to fully customize it to index from a more personal view -- it will. It takes a while to train it, but it's time well spent. This video is pure gold. Thanks for sharing.
