I work at sonic as a manager, the groovy fries actually are going to stay on the menu bc they replaced the old fries with the groovy fries and I will say most people have the same reaction as you and most people don’t realize we no longer have the option for the regular fries. Edit- I don’t work for the sonic hq so I can’t change how things are done nor do I have a choice on pricing,that’s done by sonic themselves and whatever corporation or franchise owns that location or locations. Another edit- I no longer work at sonic due to the franchise that owned my location not giving me any raises after 5 years as a manager, I will say it’s hilarious to watch the lack of business the store has after my resignation. It was fun answering y’all’s questions have a nice rest of y’all’s 2026.
