After a grocery store trip I need to lay down 😅

I’ve been watching meal prep videos for the past 4 years since becoming vegan and this is the first video that actually makes meal prep attainable to someone with major ADHD and ED. Thank you for the gentle yet effective push 💕

This is the smartest thing I’ve ever heard. I hate eating the same thing everyday. I’m going to tell my trainer about this! She’s always getting on me to meal prep

Washing vegetables in advance is a very dubious idea, since more germs appear on them than when they were not washed (a humid environment is very conducive to this). So it's better to wash vegetables and fruits a second time when you're going to eat them (or wash them only once, before eating)🤓🤓🤓

Honey, this is just what I needed to hear. I have been struggling with produce waste because things go bad so quickly anymore and I hate to waste food. But with three jobs and one small busted freezer I don’t have time to preserve the leftover bits for a later day. I need to start meal planning and prepping again. Stop deviating from what I was going to make. Stop appeasing all the junk food junkies in my house. Only buy what we need. Idk when that flew out of the window. But it’s back now. Thank you.

Yessss girl!!🙏 Soo many meal prep videos but i think its much more ideal to prep ingredients instead of whole meals ... Especially if you have a family to feed!! Love the simplicity ... Ty for the ideas keep em comin 😊

This is exactly what I do! Love the feeling of empty fridge at the end of the week ❤

Meal prepping risotto is wild to me lol… like how it doesn’t glob up into one big mush after one day is beyond me

I love this❣️I can’t get down with the normal meal prepping I see on social media, but this is manageable and more realistic. Thank you 🙏🏽

This is a very helpful and manageable approach. I love the tip of maybe prepping just one meal! I always find that I don't want to cook on days that I go grocery shopping especially.

I love this! I cook once a week either a lot of meals or one big one and sub in during the week with my other ones. Pinterest is 10/10.

Great tips! Different from other meal prep tips, manageable and leaves room for weekly variety.

Do you make vegetable scrap stock? Or dehydrate and powderize those scraps to use as seasoning or in baking or shakes etc? The strawberry tops can be added to smoothies. The banana skins can be cooked. Eg: look up vegan bacon. Basically crispy seasoned banana skins. Banana skins can also be used to make banana bread etc. Look up "health benefits of onion skin tea". ❤❤❤

I was expecting this to be extremely unattainable but it actually was attainable and doable ❤

Sometimes I like to take it a step further. I love batch chopping a bunch of different veggies and fragrants- peppers, onions, garlic, ginger, carrots, celery. If I want to make some soup, I have a good mirepoix or Cajun holy trinity ready to go. I add the chopped veg to my eggs in the morning. I also do this with rice and any left over dairy products so I’m not throwing stuff out and have it on hand even if I don’t use it super often. I batch prep some “healthier” junk food- my fave is bananas cut in half with a popsicle stick, frozen then dipped in peanut butter, frozen again and dipped in dark chocolate mixed with coconut oil, then frozen again to make a slightly healthier ice cream bar. I do love eating the same meal over and over again though, so I do just meal prep a lot of the time but for 3 days instead of a week. Also if you’re going to fridge prep, look up how to best store each ingredient so that they stay fresher longer- like carrots and celery do really well submerged in water, berries do better in closed containers, etc. I hope if you read this, maybe I was helpful:)
