In short, the airpods are cooking our brains the same way our body temperature is cooking our brains. It's not. Edit: So there are a bunch of idiots in the comments. So let's calculate: Let's take conservatively 2mW/m^2 of radiation (0.002 W/m^2). Brain Mass (m): 1.4 kg Cross-sectional Area (A): 0.02 m^2 Specific Heat (c): 3700 J/kg·K Blood Perfusion Rate (ωb): 0.01 s^-1 Blood Specific Heat (cb): 3800 J/kg·K CALCULATIONS: 1. Incident Power (P): P = Intensity * Area = 0.002 * 0.02 = 0.00004 W (40 μW) 2. Initial Rate of Rise (dT/dt): dT/dt = P / (m * c) = 4e-5 / (1.4 * 3700) ≈ 7.72e-9 K/s 3. Steady-State Increase (ΔT) with Blood Perfusion: Using Bioheat Equation: ΔT = P / (m * ωb * cb) ΔT = 0.00004 / (1.4 * 0.01 * 3800) ≈ 0.00000075 °C 4. Local Peak Surface Heating (ΔT_local): Assumed Penetration Depth (δ): 0.02 m Volume (V) = A * δ = 0.0004 m^3 Heat Rate (q) = P / V = 0.1 W/m^3 ΔT_local = q / (ωb * ρ * cb) ΔT_local = 0.1 / (0.01 * 1050 * 3800) ≈ 0.0000025 °C RESULTS: Steady-State ΔT (Normal alive person): ~0.00000075 °C Peak Local Steady-State ΔT (Directly at your ear while you are alive): ~0.0000025 °C Cumulative ΔT (1 hr, dead guy with no blood flow): ~0.000028 °C CONCLUSION: Please use your brain, thank you.
doom scrolling is cooking our brains anyways, even without headphones
Weak Airpods can’t even ionize my brain smh
The only Bluetooth that's dangerous, is the viking it's named after.
Non-ionizing radiation isn't automatically safe as all energy ultimately dissipates as heat. Take a microwave as an example, it uses non-ionizing radiation yet would probably cook your head. Not saying an airpod is dangerous or will generate any significant amount of heat, but non-ionizing radiation is not a guarentee of safety. (I work with satellite antennas and if focused on a point, can generate enough heat to start fires)
Bring back the headphone jack!
if weak airpods cook our brains, imagine what that lamp would be doing! 1000x times more power at a higher frequency!
Do you believe everything you see online ?😂😂😂😂
I love the irony of people still saying it's dangerous, commenting from the smartphone in their hands 😂
Man if only people paid attention in highschool and remembers wavelengths
Crazy to think radio waves are hurting you when the entire visible light spectrum is like ten orders of magnitude more energetic.
Keep it pushing. I love your content!
You are the reason I have not fully dropped out. I aspire to be as intelligent, knowledgeable, and as resourceful as you one day good sir. Thank you for being an inspiration
But my question is what if you have 50 of these around you, aka sitting in your apartment surrounded by all the other wifi, phones, earpods etc, and also your own devices running? Does it compound?
We barely understand how consciousness works, anything smaller than quarks, or how most of reality works at all, but I guess if it doesn't ionize it must be completely safe! The only reason this stuff is called safe is because it is so useful.
I still refuse to put something with lithium batteries directly in my ears
My rose quartz wearing friend will hate this video.
Even visible light is electromagnetic wave
😂😂😂 Brain cooking😂😂😂 In a few years we will know. Now everything is harmless and acceptable and buyable and desireable.
I’m seeing this online…
