“I’ll let you judge this one yourself” Alright Guga, I’ll go buy me a 900$ grill right now just to share my opinions
the very first one, free wood, has the highest rank to price ratio. It’s the real winner here 😅
I think the $300 one is the best for steak. It cannot do everything like a true big smoker but even Guga gave it 9.9 out of 10
Nothing beats a hole in the ground, a couple blocks, some good wood, and an old grid from the oven of an old stove. Don’t overcomplicate it boys 😂😂
My favorite was the $1 grill. I remember being very poor and got some filet scraps from the restaurant I was working at. I purchased a bundle of wood from the nearby gas station and cooked it right on the coals, it was the best steak I've ever eaten at that time.
Weird that there was nothing in between 10 dollars and 300 dollars. I feel like most people own a BBQ in that price range.
I love how the 5000 dollar grill was just the 1 dollar grill indoors
6:54 He paid $5000 for a tray to burn charcoal on 😂🤣 Ooooff!! You could make that thing for $50
The 5000 one was a joke lol
I wish I had a tenth of Guga's enthusiasm here...dude is just so wholesome and loves what he does.
Your $10 000 BBQ is what every South African has built into their homes. We call it a JetMaster and costs around $500-$850 but of course you need a chimney so when you buy or build a house it's already built in or you include it.
16:24 Guga why didn’t we get a close up on the steak??? Why we lyin abt the “beautiful crust”. genuinely worst steak ive seen guga make trying(which does say a lot😭)
grill is 200 usd, but installation is 9800 usd
I’ve seen guga use the $300 grill in so many videos and I was always wondering what grill it is for whenever I get one and this video has definitely helped me
0:34 Well you could set it up indoors... once.
10:29. That's a Santa Maria style BBQer. Almost everyone in SM has one like that in their backyard, or they use the ones at the parks. It's great for controlling heat. The commercial grills (like in this video) run over $1k, but the backyard stuff is more or less $500.
when fire and sticks are better than your grill........
The Weber Smoky Joe for a msrp $50 and often on sale for less is really a great little budget sweet spot and far more than 5 times better than disposables. Skipping to a $300 seems a bit overly theatrical.
I think what’s great about live fire cooking is that it’s not really about the grill. If you know how to work with fire you can make it work on just about anything and get an excellent end result. Sure, it’s fun and can be easier on a fancy grill but you can literally cook an amazing product with nothing but hot coals on the ground. There’s also something really satisfying about doing it with minimal equipment.
Why is the 1 dollar stick actually good😂
