You've reached the end
My next plate of ketchup and microwaves chicken nuggets is gonna look soooo chique after this.
I love how high class restaurants always strive to best recreate the different smears left on toilet paper
I prefer the cafeteria lady’s iconic method, the “slap”. You take your ladle and you slap the plate with any food you find near you. Make sure to get cigarette ash in there for added flare and flavor.
My preferred method of plating is to put the food on the plate. This method ensures the food is on the plate where I can eat it.
Then put your turkey dinosaurs on top of it.
Tadpole?? That's a swimmer mate
If you put the tadpole with the clam 9 months later a chef is born.
We need a part 2 of where the food goes among the blobs.
"10 bullshits you can do to make your food look fancy"
"waiter, waiter, can I please get more than 10ml of sauce?"
“this is 10 ways a super expensive restaurant taught me to make shapes out of sauce”
“The tadpole” Oh, you sweet summer child
"This is ten ways a super expensive restaurant taught me how to make shapes out of sauce, plate a very tiny portion of some bullshit, and charge $150 for it"
These boys: they KNOW how silly this is, but get away with it cos seemingly everything they touch tastes amazing. Respect.
“The tadpole!” *sighs and opens comments* 😞
"Really easy to do, but really easy to look shit". Spat out my Tom Yum broth!
As a cook/chef, I propose that cooks/chefs are *the most* esoteric people in the world. Literally 95% of people don't care about the plating as long as it tastes good and is cooked proper.
I prefer the "drown the dish in sauce and im fine almost with whatever it looks like as long as it tastes nice" plate
Imagine the tadpole but with a white sauce instead
How to make food fancy: Randomly scrape sauce around plate then charge twice the price 👍
