As someone who works in THE factory that produces chicken for Jollibee, Raising Cane's, Chick-fil-a, and a few others, the chicken isn't the problem. The problem is the preparation always, because we produce damn good chicken. Halal, clean, well taken care of----the whole 9 yards. It's the same chicken from those restaurants just different prep work.
Even crazier is that Jollibee was competing with a handicap: no gravy.

As someone who grew up in the Philippines, I’m still find it crazy how popular jollibee has become in the US. I’m an American now and the amount of times I’ve had a none Filipino tell me their favorite chicken place is jollibee, not even knowing it was Filipino, baffles me 😂
