This fits 95% of peoples needs and is affordable. Glad they released this
“Don’t hate on the veggies, hate on the vegans!” 😂😂😂 I’m dead 💀
Frugoni threw that out as soon as the rep left 😂
Really like you Al. But let me know after multiple cooks over a 2-3 month period.
Have been using this grill since it came out. It is so dang fun. I started maximizing the fire by throwing poblanos and other peppers directly on the firebox to make them blister so I can make salsas while I cook the meat. There definitely could be some minor improvements. But for what you get with the price. It’s well worth it!
Ahh I thought we were gonna get a real review
What kind of stainless steel, and how thick is the metal? Will it rust and fall apart in 2 years like the other blackstone grills? This was not a review that I would expect Al Frugoni to do. In fact, I think Al just lost some credibility by doing this review. I love your channel and expected much more than a simple advertisement for a literally, cheap, grill.
I've got almost 20 cooks on my blackstone open flame. It's my first open fire grill. I love it. It is absolutely the most fun I have had grilling. I feared keeping it burning would be too much to handle, but it is easy. I only use wood, no charcoal at all.
I got inspired today!met a young man that 10 years ago had industrial arts in his high school, any built a big smoker grill out of a 275 gallon fuel oil tank.too bad they don't teach that in school anymore sadly😢
Al Frugoni: you open fire guru, nailing the temperature of the meat, absolute PRO
You can make this better by adding fire stones to the bottom and sides and will help with the heat.
This was such a smart move by Blackstone
They sent this guy to make sure they didn't burn their product. 😂
First look not too bad but use wood instead of their charcoal. We know it’s a part ad video but treat it like you would other grills. It looks like you could easily fire it up and just keep adding a piece of wood to start warming up. That being said if you are buying this for home you may not have the space to keep a bunch of wood hanging around to cook with so I can see lump coal being used.
The main thing about Blackstone is the longevity of the grill. Thats what I wanna know. How long that thin sheet metal will last with the heat.
After years of don’t find a Santa Maria on an affordable price I ended up buying and welder and making myself one. A month later this came out 😡. And on top to control my compulsive push to buy one anyways never is in stock. I hate this review without even start watching it 😂
Don’t hate on the veggies, hate on the vegans was an instant subscribe
Hype
I’m sold! Definitely need to buy one this summer!
The it’s an ad purists are out!!! Please guys. Why does this conversation happen on repeat? 1) Al has to make a living doing this. 2) it obviously not a full review. 3) Al’s channel is about open fire cooking, so if this grill does well to get beginners into the hobby, that’s good for Al and everyone else not in the US looking to have more in this space. I would like to know if the metal quality and the height clearance would support putting heat retention bricks in.
