I love my Yoder 640 YS . I purchased it June 2019 and it has been great . I barely use my big built in Viking natural gas grill . I highly recommend Yoder products.
Recteq should have been on this list. Headquarters in Augusta Ga. I have had one for years with no problems at all. Not as cheap as the big box store brands but are very high quality.
Wow, I'm really surprised at the list. It's not that I think others are better, its just that with all the other brands on the market I expected to see other brands mentioned. I purchased a Lang backyard hybrid with a warming box approximately 10 years ago and it's still going strong! I became interested in the Blaze cast aluminum Kamado. I loved the design and quality of the build so I finally purchased one four years ago. Man, oh man, this grill impressed me! The first really cook was a 17 lbs. brisket and once I learned how to get the temperature set right IT COOKED GREAT! The brisket cooked approximately 10 hours straight without having to add any additional fuel. The construction is excellent. I'm so impressed with the Blaze Kamado I recently ordered a Blaze 40in. LTE 5 burn freestanding propane grill to replace a old propane grill. I can't wait for it to arrive. So to see the two brands that I have on the top of the list is impressive and I believe they deserve to be there. Its cool to know that my grills on this prestige list.
I bought my Ducane in 1987. It still kicks ass.
Love my Lang pull behind!!!! Hands down the best cooker/smoker on the planet!!
The best grill will have a cast iron firebox... steel or even stainless steel will not hold up to the heat.
I would love to know where are you getting your prices! For example the Broil King Regal S490 is $1759 on amazon. That is "slightly" higher then your $649. Small 3 burners Blaze (top only not freestanding) is $1500. Care to explain??
I'll stick with my Napoleon 665 Prestige Pro made entirely out of 304 SS. Had it for 6 years now, operates exactly like day 1.
You forgot the komodo kamado
Dont buy any grill brands with the idea that they will last. They dont.
I just went and looked up a BroilKing. s490. $1750. Looks like you missed that by quite a bit.

Lone Star grillz, outlaw pits, workhorse pits, gateway drum all belong on any “ to buy” list
Great information. Thanks. I use a Pit Barrel Cooker. And I love it. In fact I have 2 Pit Barrel Cookers. I the have largest one, and the next size to the largest. And I love both of them. Have the first one for about 5 years. And second one for about 3 years. I appreciate the good information about each company. 👍
I’ve owned a DCS grill for 36 years. I did have to replace the cast iron burners after 30 years but everything else is original. Worth every penny.
