So basically the hantavirus is a disease that was brought onto a cruise ship and was spread to a few people(some died on the ship from it I believe). Then these people that were infected were let off the cruise and sent back to their homes on all corners of the world. There is no current cure for this virus and you don't start showing symptoms until you are almost dead(kinda like rabies). People are saying that this could be the next coronavirus. Thus being the point of the video.

i looked it up online and apparently it's really low for transmission, but it is still very dangerous. luckily they are under heavy isolation. meaning we're safe...for now.

This is true but they let them off and put them in rooms where they can’t infect anyone! Hope this helps also as a child I just wanna say that content creators should know there are kids watching their videos and honestly this virus thing scared me until I realized more. So yes this virus is real but content creators are making it seem much much scarier and worse then it really is. So all in all, we are safe and your summer should be fun as always! 💕

Guys, certified medics and scientists tested all passengers after the ship docked and only a few were put into isolation and the rest that werent infected were sent back to their home county on a flight. Its also not that contagious unless you get immediate contact with it

Actually, he virus is a virus that is being contained right now, so no need to panic. But basically how it started is when one person on a cruise caught it and he passed it to his wife. They soon passed it to 3 other people and those three people died on the cruise ship. The ship had all nationalities so the passengers on the cruise ship are all in their Home countries right now, but the two infected people are currently quarantine in Singapore and will be for the next 30 days until they stop showing symptoms and test negative. The symptoms are basically just a fever. The fatality rate is 40% but the Covid fatality rate is actually much higher. It is not airborne but actually spread through touch and rats.
