I learned HTML, CSS, and Js in 2 days. On day 3, Google & Microsoft were bidding to hire me.

Guys don’t listen to this. I’m a dev self taught and working please don’t give your money away, there’s no boot camp or course that will take from nothing to hired in 2 months. More like 9-12 months

With over 8 years of experience, practise makes perfect, and practise takes time. If you think your next asignment is impossible, cut it in bite-size pieces. Development of any kind of soft or hardware is only hard if you make yourself think its hard :). Good luck everyone who's starting out! You can do it!

How does someone afford these clothes, this home, the tech and STILL have time to take courses for 6 months, it's not that easy when you're in this life alone

If it was that easy, what the heck I was doing in an engineering college for 4 years.

Took me 6 months after my college was done to get my first interview call. Cleared it and got Data analyst role. It surely isn't easy and you gotta keep learning because in IT learning never stops.

Turns out front end has more programming involved than I previously thought

I am also no CS background but I want to become software developer, for me this is best short video i had seen till now.

What bootcamp was that? And do you mind elaborating on which courses you found most helpful

1. Learn the basics of programming. Estimated 6 months - 1 year. 2. Data structures and Algorithms - 6 months (basic) +1 year for harder topics. 3. Coding interviews preparation. (6 months at least). 3. Learn technologies - front end, backend, databases, version control, Linux, cloud. 1-2 years. 4. Study System design. Design Patterns. Language specific stuff. 4. Apply, resume writing, networking, meetups, hackathons. Work on Behavioral questions. 5. Build your own projects. Always.
