Can't speak for Colt Steele, but Angela Yu's course is the best instruction I've ever had. Learned more in her course than I did working on my bachelor's.
I love how competition between udemy instructors is leading to more and better value for us end consumers.
Angela yu is the best🔥
I did both! :-) I still can’t decide which is better, I love them both.
I got both of them in my account still haven't started yet.
I'm doing Colt's right now! I can't say for Angela (yet! I'm gonna do hers after Colt's for sure!) but Colt is such an amazing instructor! He keeps the lessons really engaging, the exercises are great and he has a sense of humour that makes you chuckle throughout the course. I'm really thankful that his course exists, makes coding way less intimidating :)
Colt steele. He's the best instructor I've ever been taught by. I took the course just to learn basics of HTML and CSS to help me in my UX design journey. After a few lessons, I completely forgot about UX and I became obsessed with web development and design. I love the way he teaches, with splashes of humor. So good.
Angela's web development course is amazing. The breadth and depth of the course is remarkable. She is a gifted teacher who is charismatic, engaging, and fun to watch. I highly recommend it.
I'm 45% complete Angela's course and she is such a gem. Such a nice, caring teacher.
Colt trying to remove all doubt with the update 👀
Colt steele 🔥🔥🔥
My course reviews will now primarily be on my newly-reignited 🔥sister channel Tech Course Review! Go check it out: /TechCourseReview?sub_confirmation=1
I finished both and I'm taking the the colt's update right now...if this was 2 months ago, I'd say Angela's is better cos Colt's is old ...but with this new update, Colt's winning this
Colt Steele 🔥🔥🔥
The update to adding and using ES6 throughout the course for Colt was a big deal for me - dropping jQuery was a good choice to me - loved Colt's update
I've just finished the CSS and HTML sections of colt's. Now I'm starting Angela's course so I can dive a little deeper into those two things before I move on to the more complex things like javascript and Frameworks and all that good stuff
Colt has a separate course for React now. BTW I am doing Angela Yu's web Dev boot camp. I've completed like 20%. It's great and very beginner friendly so far.
Two things Yu needs to add are flexbox & grid
Angela is better because of the constant challenges she includes in her courses in my opinion, you get to practice what you just learned in a challenge is way better then being stuck in perpetual tutorial hell, i feel her style prepares you more for your own projects shortly after, wish more Udemy teachers would implement this style, make more INTERACITVE guys rather then a passive video series
Colt Steele is a legend!! i did a apple ios dev course with angela which was pretty cool :-)
