If I’m not mistaken, I believe next month, which is May 2026 Sir David Attenborough will be 100 years old and I feel like BBC Earth as well as many other channels who have used him in the past should do a collaboration of some kind in order to honor him and all the work he’s done over the years to bring literally billions of people knowledge about the natural world and creating a love for the natural world that is critical for us to survive. Even though I’m American, and we obviously don’t have knighthood here I still feel that if there are any modern knights, it would be, sir David Attenborough.❤❤❤❤❤

Wow, Attenborough’s voice combined with that "living raft" of fire ants at is pure spine-chilling brilliance. It’s mind-blowing how nature finds a way to survive even the most hopeless floods. This documentary is a masterpiece of storytelling and cinematography. BBC Earth really is the gold standard for showing us the hidden magic of our planet!
One of my FAVORITE rescues was a female chameleon who lost her tail. A month after I rescued her she laid a clutch of unfertilized eggs and it was sad. After that, sh became really loving, clinging to my hair. I just hope she found some kind of happiness with me. It FELT like she did. 🙂
