I could listen to David attenborough talk about paint drying for an hour and itd still be an amazing time. This was beautiful.
Ocean: yes 1 hour: yes Amazing: *yes!*
The ocean is truly beautiful and terrifying at the same time
I am an aspiring marine biologist so this is heaven for me!
*Incredible footage of whales intelligently fishing* “This is Steve.”
big, big ups to the crew that captured such amazing activity in the oceans of this incredible planet
The BBC earth series saved my life when I had cancer. I was so depressed I repeatedly watched episode after episode of the same thing it was so beautiful and reminded me that the earth is worth fighting for and so is my life.
As someone who loves the ocean and wants to be a marine biologist this is amazing.
I am really amazed by the photographer's skills.. They really have courage to get close to these beautiful creatures. And even in the depth of the ocean..
4:17 "this is steve, a crab-" video buffers, Me: Huh, that's nice they name their crabs. 4:21 "-fisherman." oh
I literally cried at the whales dancing with each other. I can't even get a date and look at these beautiful creatures 😢
Nature/Wildlife documentaries seem incomplete without David Attenborough's voice.
David, it is your magnetic, mellow ,calm narrative that keeps me immersed and mesmerized by nature's wonders you so ably present. I know you are advanced in years, but I still wish you extra active years, Sir.
I have watched so many David Attenborough documentaries and they never get old.... Even watched many over and over again (wanted to make sure i didn't miss a second) lol they never get old to me, I could truly watch anything he narrates!! My favorite is the ocean I find every single thing about the oceans fascinating.. Another really intriguing documentary he narrates is one about Madagascar that was amazing too its so cool to think out of the whole entire world that is the only place with lemurs.... So incredibly cool...
I'm never tired of watching nature in action. Thank you for sharing this.
The sardine sequence at 32:20 was breathtaking and quite overwhelming to the senses tbh. I was blown away.
"Trees take root... Birds arrive" .. Its like feeling things happen by merely listening to David.. He is amazing at what he does..
Absolutely gorgeous! Oceans hide many lifes, well done for video!!
I've known for a while now, for many different reasons, that Orcas are absolutely tip of the apex predators, but it still puts me in a state of awe sometimes seeing these incredible sequences of shots that clearly show just how terrifyingly intelligent, ruthless and powerful they really are. I truly think that, with the exception of humans (and possibly Sperm Whales, who we may never truly get to see hunt at full force because of the depth, speed and distance at which their hunts occur), there is no other creature on Earth more terrifying than a pod of Orcas, or even just a lone roamer. The big cats (Cougar, Jaguar, Lions, Tigers, etc.)come close to them on land and some large dog species (Wolves, Hyena, etc.) have similar teamwork, sharks have similar power but lack coordination and dolphins have teamwork but not as much raw power, but orcas have excellent coordination skills, and just the shape of them _oozes_ raw power like nothing else. More than a *_FOOT_* of pure muscle on _each_ side of those jaws makes me wonder if anything short of pure stone stands a chance at surviving it's bite.
I've already watched all of the individual videos, but screw it, I'm watching them again!
