You've reached the end
Oh Man, what are you doing? You should always drain that out and clean it thoroughly. All the nasty stuff settles to the bottom of that filter housing. Thereβs a sensor in there that reads water and fuel. Even a heating element in some. You have to flush that out. I also check the inlet fitting. It gets full of algae and debris from in the fuel. Thereβs a little flap or sometimes even a ball with a spring. You have to clean all that stuff out or it will make the fuel drained back into the tanks.
I like to drain the entire separator, the amount of times Iβve found the bottom full of gunk is enough for me to do it everytime
Just an oilchange. And the first thing you change is a fuel filter π
Just found you via algorithmβ¦. Great channel. New sub.
This is the guy making impossible to remove oil filters. Also, no mention of the prefill on that diesel oil filter
It's nice to see professionally performed tasks. Well done.
Good to see you grease all major points and check fluids while engine oil is draining. Check those tie-rod ends and U-joints for wear/play while greasing. You should check diff-gear oil while you are under there... and transmission level too, though trans fluid often gets checked with engine running.
I'm old school I lift the front axel to get grease to the bottom and top of the bearings.
Great jobπ
Zerk fittings should always be wiped clean to prevent pumping contaminants into the bearings.
Thank you for recording and posting this valuable educational video. Sincerely.

Good ole days as a diesel mechanic πͺπ That's a pretty clean truck lol
i feel fresh just by watching this video
Kingpin a phenomenal piece of technology. While the trailer tires are hooked off the edge of the bridge and your dangling 60 ft closer to the river the Kingpin is keeping you alive
