It looks beautiful, if you had a solar powered bubbler it would help to aerate the water and the sounds would not only be peaceful but help to attract wildlife
Jude , not only do I admire the way you conduct yourself on cam and the amazing channel , videos and community you have built. You my friend are a true gent in every sense of the phrase. Thank you for the videos and I look forward to next week . Love from France
Of COURSE it’s all about Sven. Look at him. His the star of this entire endeavour. ❤🐈
The pond is lovely, Jude!! I hope all the critters enjoy it!
The pond is lovely! Just wanted to say that you are one of the few YouTubers who successfully uses music to enhance your videos. It’s not as easy it seems. You do a great job of selecting engaging music and of not covering up your voice when you talk. Just one reason your videos are so special!
HI Jude. Let me preface this with I owned a landscaping business that specialized in ponds. There a few snags you are going to run into. First is it is less than Ideal to locate ponds near trees. You will have to be on top of the leaves that will fall into it. Another is the plastic. It will last the season but don't expect it to last for a long time. It breaks down with freeze and sunlight. Butyl rubber liners or clay infused liners will last decades. Also for the plants to survive it needed to be deeper with a layer of gravel in the bottom for them to root in . Now you will get an algae bloom as all the fresh water and plants etc have put a lot of protein into the water. Don't panic . it blooms and then dies leaving what is called mulm on the bottom. You want this as that is what pond buts grow in . With a heavy rain it can bloom again. Usually not as much as the first and it dies quicker. The only other thing I can see is get the wood out of the water if it is at all submerged. I really like the end results as far as looks. You really do have a landscapers eye.
Oh wow, I've just settled down to watch Jude after spending all day building a wildlife pond! Lovely synchronicity ❤
For someone who always says he doesn't know how to do thing, you are amazingly able to create so many lovely things in your yard.
It’s Sunday, it’s 6pm and it’s time for Jude 😊😊😊

Loved the cat climbing the trees 🐱🐈
Beautiful pond! Such good work and lovely results. Your channel is an oasis of peace. Thank you.
Aw, Sven and the chooks living their best lives! ❤
Best time of the week ❤
Awesome! If you want to quick-start your pond life (and prevent it from being a midge kindergarten), I suggest collecting a jar of water from a well established wild pond and transferring it to yours, it will contain all the good microorganisms you want 😊
If you get Newts in your pond, expect to spend a lot of time watching them in the Summer. TY, I find myself looking forward to your weekly video. You are a bit of a star in my book.
Well done Jude..getting to the root of things 💚
