Back to the basics!! Sharing all my tips and tricks for how to stack, fill, and crumb coat your cakes. This is step 1 of cake decorating - an essential first step that sets you up with a solid structure to be able to get creative with your decorating. π₯° Part 1 is live! πΊ Part 2 will cover how to get a smooth buttercream finish and nice sharp edges, plus common buttercream mishaps and how to fix them. In part 3 weβll get into some classic birthday cake designs. What questions do you have that you wanna see answered?? Proper hygiene in the kitchen is a must! I've met many people who know little to nothing about hygiene and how to manipulate products that could get bad through time
Excited for this series! I struggle with cake decoration so I tend to stick to cookies and bars haha
Iβm just now finding this series but THANK YOU! Iβve worked at a bakery for nearly two years now and Iβve always wanted to learn to frost cakes/cupcakes (I primarily bake cookies and did not learn in a formal setting). Unfortunately my boss will not teach me, so Iβm determined to learn on my own. Iβve tried teaching myself, but itβs not working out the greatest. π I havenβt found a super in depth series until now! Iβm so excited to go binge watch this series. Thank you again! π
