As a baker, I think you did an amazing job. You can bake the cakes previously and freeze them, so you can save time in your weeding cake. Also I think that if you mix the caramel with a bit of the buttercream to make a filler, would taste really good as well. But overall, you did great and you're a good friend 😊
Baby’s breath should never be on a cake. Sorry girl but they are poisonous if ingested and even the residue can cause diarrhoea, vomiting and skin rashes

That's not a naked cake, you did way more work on this beauty! *THIS IS SO SO IMPORTANT FOR SAFETY* The time has passed for this cake, but for anyone watching: do NOT put baby's breath (or any plant that you are not 100% certain is edible) directly into a cake like that. If you're going to use a non-edible plant or flower on a cake, you must completely envelop the stem in floral tape. Watch tutorials about how to properly use floral tape; you have to stretch the tape before using it so that it will seal upon itself.
Am i tripping? I thought naked cakes were ones where you could still see the cakes itself, but you covered the whole thing?

I’m a bit lost cuz I understood it was going to be a naked cake and then she crumbled coated it, and my understanding of naked cake is exactly that: no crumble coat, just the cake and then filling and you can see the cake, hence the name “naked”
So I see a lot of people confused about the “naked cake” comment. I can kinda explain because I bake and often see baking content. Yes, a naked cake is when you can see the cake, or parts of the cake. Recently however, some people have been calling cakes like this naked as it’s very simple, and has VERY light icing. Yes, it’s thicker than the typical “naked” iced cakes, but you can tell how thin the icing is. At the end of the day there’s no cake police so who cares?
Add a little purple to make it white instead of yellow😊
