They want AI to cause cyberattacks so they have a justification to completely censor the entire internet. This is why no laws regulating AI have been passed. Total surveillance was always the goal, and this, along with vilifying privacy and VPNS, is how they will justify it. They intentionally have not regulated AI and this is probably the best explanation I have figured out for why.
