Well, they certainly kicked ass with their hardware for AI, it's amazing what I can do locally with AI on just a 32GB M4 mini because of the Apple silicon architecture.
Yeah, I’m pretty optimistic about the new SIRI coming out. Most of the features seem like actual nice functional features to have. Especially improved voice to text that is going to be such a quality of life upgrade for iPhone and the whole Apple ecosystem. Just that alone will feel night and day.

AI is terrible for the environment & it literally steals other people’s work in order to exist. It’s for bottom of the barrel no talent morons & grifters.
It’s not. Cloud-based AI is, but the computer doesn’t necessarily have to be in the cloud. I currently have a local model running on both my iPhone and computer. Local on-device processing is superior to cloud computing in relation to the environment.

Great video. Apple’s always invested heavily in the r&d for creating useful accessibility features. I want to push back on the popular narrative that Apple is “late”, or sits back and checks which way the wind is blowing. Apple rarely does that. Apple is usually the FIRST to work on something. What typically happens is they get “patent trolled” or for their future products. Google glass happened after Apple filed patents for something “wearable” and once competitors found out it was a WATCH, they all beat Apple to the market first. USB and usbc were first on Apple devices. I remember when Apple discontinued CD’s or released laptops years ago with ONLY usbc. A and micro usb were king. Same with 120 hz first appeared on the iPad, not an Android device. Apple Pay, Car play and even the Apple Vision Pro patent was discovered over a dozen years ago and started the race. Look at articles in REAL TIME, not revisionist history years later. Usbc, Apple Pay, Apple Watch and AVP. Google or Samsung rarely initiates ideas, they just beat Apple to market.
