As versatile as Andrew is, I never pictured him adding children's book author to his already impressive repertoire.

Certified chain installer here: The point of chains is to reduce the area of tread contact to a few small hard points, hence the superiority of "ice breaker" chains. This is why the skinny tread pattern worked so much better. The coming loose problem is because you have no chain tensioners, like wheel chains have. IF you put the single point on the inside, and make connectors to pull the two legs of your V's toward the next set ... some kind of cam-over with a spring ... they will stop coming loose. Eyes with carabiners(?) attached to the undercarrige side for sure... A lot like the things they put on a screen door to keep it from ripping the stopper cable out of the frame. Going around the corners of the triangle, without becoming too slack is a challenge, your springs will need to have a lot of compression travel, probably double what the screen door devices have... Chains are like mousetraps, build a great design and you will sell millions of them. Best of luck, Ken Lee.

Book ordered. Exactly the examples we need for kids to see. All hard work is noble and a child unchallenged will never know their capacity to exceed their own expectations. You’re doing God’s work Andrew

Ideas as simple as using the big piece of I-beam as a depth gauge so you didn't have to keep measuring the piece of metal are what make me love watching you
When Andrew uploads, we watch 👀
