Totally crazy how much they charge for mid fast food. My local McDonald’s sells the big arch sandwich for $8.79. A local restaurant sells a half pound burger (made with local beef) with fries for $10. With the insane price hikes of these fast food companies, there is no reason to not support local.

At the store I work at its selling for 9.09 in indiana. Our employee meal we are allowed 9 dollars. Our chain hates its employees so much that they priced it 9 cents more so we couldnt get it for our break meal 😂. No vacation time, no sick time, no pto, insurance is through the roof so basically no insurance, and no chance for a raise, you get hired at 12 and stay at 12 for as long as you work there. We have a man with autism working at our store, has been there 20 years and has gotten 2 raises of 50 cents each. Tell me thats not exploitation. I'm in college so I wont be here much longer but the year ive worked here has been awful.

At least Burger King uses fresh produce. McDonald's has their onions, tomatoes, and lettuce shipped preprocessed and is the only restaurant I've ever worked in that does not possess a single knife. Even the knew 'fried onions' come delivered like a bag of chips.

At my local burger stand ran by a sweet old couple for $13 you can get a double bacon cheese burger made out of fresh corn beef from local farms, a huge ass fair style fry and a tall chocolate shake. Fast food lost the plot. No way in hell am i paying 7 bucks for a thin ass piece of meat
