At that time making a portable PC that this is an engineering nightmare and fitting a battery that can last 6-8 hours was almost impossible until Steve and his team did this. People have no idea how difficult is to produce batteries with a certain modifications. Nowadays you see silicon batteries or 10K MAH mobile but that Macbook Air was a straight up alien tech back in those days
Im using MacBook Air 2017. Intel i7 2.2Ghz Turbo Boost to 2.9Ghz, 8GB Ram, 256GB SSD Rom. Oh boy, even for now in 2026. The battery can still runs up to 5-6 hours without having to charge. Truly amaze with the durability of this product.
