Jerry........I'm type 2 diabetic. Managing carbohydrate ("carb") intake is KEY because carbs break down into glucose, directly affecting blood sugar levels. Not all carbs behave the same way: some are "fast" (simple or refined carbs like white bread, sugary drinks, or candy), which digest quickly and cause rapid spikes in blood glucose, making them harder to control. In contrast, "slow carbs" — also called slow-release, complex, or low-GI carbs — digest more gradually due to their higher fiber content and complex structure. This leads to a slower, steadier rise in blood sugar, helping maintain more stable levels. Yes, different people can react quite differently to the same carbohydrates, even when eating identical foods in similar amounts......but as a rule of thumb......... Slow carbs: Whole grains, Broccoli, spinach, kale, cauliflower, bell peppers, zucchini, asparagus, mushrooms, tomatoes, cucumbers, and leafy greens (most veggies are naturally slow carbs due to high fiber and low starch). Starchy vegetables (in moderation): Sweet potatoes (especially boiled or steamed), carrots, and winter squash like butternut. Fruits (with skin where possible): Apples, pears, berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries), cherries, oranges, grapefruit, peaches, plums, and kiwi—these provide slower energy than tropical or very ripe fruits. Carbs to avoid: Soda, fruit juices, sweetened teas, energy drinks, sports drinks, and sweetened coffee/tea, Candy, cookies, cakes, doughnuts, ice cream, chocolate bars, and other sugary treats. White bread, white rice, white pasta, bagels, pretzels, crackers, and most breakfast cereals (especially those with added sugars like cornflakes or puffed rice), Potato chips, french fries, pastries, muffins, and many packaged baked goods, White potatoes (especially baked or mashed), instant oatmeal, and some overly ripe tropical fruits in large amounts (though whole fruits are generally better than juices).

I lol'ed so hard about the Windows Vs Linux arguments :D Jerry: "Windows just works, which is what people like, Linux are the tingerers who like to find solutions in the OS's". Litteraly 20 second laters: "Hold my mic and watch me spend 15 minutes troubleshooting some obsure audio setting in Windows. Hear me roar!". Hey, no judgement. Everyone should use the OS they want to, ain't breaking any shards of me, just because we have different prefferences. :D Just goes to prove that we are all creatures of habit, prone to stick to the devils we know.

I wish you guys would actually watch the LTT videos you're referring to instead of propagating misinformation. That whole video about the LTT cables was very informative and answers all of your questions. Call me an LTT simp, but I actually like everything I've bought from them - they are high quality, reasonably priced and is the only way I currently support them financially. Re: older team members leaving and corporatisation: I've watched all of their retrospective videos about LTT. All of them are positive about LTT in general and the Zip Tie Tuning guys specifically said that Linus allowed them to be made redundant so that they were able to keep getting paid while they were setting up. Clearly Jake's problem with LTT is that it wasn't what he originally signed up for - sure, and that's his choice. But it's not LTTs fault that it's not being a small company any more. It's what companies do. Again, I don't know what else could be done - maybe they could have been more attentive to their employees, but that's just how growing companys work unfortunately. Also, it's complete nonsense that they have to sign non-compete agreements. They can do whatever the fuck they want - they said that in the video they made where they interviewed employees about Linus as a boss. They even allow people to run their own competing channels while they are still working at LTT. It's also bs to call Linus and Yvonne on making money. They started the fucking company, they sacrificed far more than any of the employees and put everything on the line to make LTT happen. Jake can talk all he wants about his sacrifices - he has been free to leave the whole time.

Currently - Bitcoin fees are actually stupid low (though they would not remain that way under heavy use of mainnet - though there is now the lightning network for small transactions that are like less than a cent a piece that takes a lot of stress off mainnet). In the last 24 hours, the most a person had to pay to be included in the next block was 4.5 satoshi per virtual byte and that equals to around the same it would cost for a credit card transaction (45 cents) for a single input single output transaction. The majority of blocks in the last 24 hours only required like 1 sat/vB or lower and that is like 10 cents for the same basic transaction.

I have 3 kids and I don’t spend no where near 250000 in an 18 year span. Where is this number coming from
