AI is the easy part. Energy is everything. Everything. That has to be fixed. Our grid is a mess and our thirst for energy is and will be off the charts. I agree with Gates that stability is crucial. But politicians need to get a grip on this, and stop their pathetic power plays (no pun intended) and focus on energy. You can't do anything, you can't help anyone without sufficient energy at all levels (business, housing, production, transporation, farming, and more). Energy is everything.

We will simply become irrelevant like horses were a hundred years ago. Could AI take over human jobs while we live unchanged, perhaps receiving a basic income instead? I don't think so. We're cutting down trees and using massive amounts of electricity to dig our own graves.
