Interview question - Why were you laid off?

Just say that there was a mass layoff in our organisation due to which i lost my job. Too long responses can result in counter questions and you might lose your credibility.

Why can't we be honest 😢, it is so hard to fake an answer like I used to mug up dates and events of history in class 9

Believe me they are not expecting you to answer like a robot. I think you are 10-15 years behind. Time has changed. Almost all interviewers prefer casual talks not robotic scripted responses.

Don't say company layed off, instead give some personal reasons... if you say company layed off anyhow 50% of your impression will go off even though if u prepared to give the justification for layed off

Hi Dhiksha. I got terminated for not showing up at ofc to have formal chat with boss and have clean exit by resignation as i had to rush to ma hometown due to family emergency. Everything was set ive been brainwashed regarding a replacement that they already hired someone in ma place before I left the company itself. I find it as a clear case of ego, politics or something I don't know. Tried to do the resignation process online but by then my official ID, dashboard, slack, teams everything been suspended already just minutes after I submitted ofc stuff (laptop, I card etc). Will this add value to ma resume for future jobs if i put current company work experience? Letme know. Coz if i don't include this exp i had to go with previous company's CTC which was very low.
